Position Title: Packaging and Cellar Associate | Department: Production |

POSITION SUMMARY
The Packaging Team Associate is primarily responsible for helping operate Walker Brother’s canning line system. This position also performs general tasks to help ensure that the packaging equipment and packaging area remain well maintained, organized, and sanitary.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
PACKAGING RESPONSIBILITIES- Regular and dependable attendance for work packaging shifts as scheduled by packaging manager weekly
- Help safely operate, clean, and sanitize canning line following company standard operating procedures (SOP’s)
- Observe machine operations to ensure quality and conformity of filled or packaged products to brewery standards.
- Safely load and organize packaged inventory on pallets and transport finished pallets to walk in cooler
- Perform basic preventative maintenance on machinery to ensure it is functioning safely, properly, and efficiently.
- Communicate all mechanical issues to Packaging Lead
- Help out as needed in other parts of the brewery (Team Player)
- Help maintain a safe and clean production facility that aligns with OSHA standards
CELLAR RESPONSIBILITIES
- CIP (clean in place) brite tanks after packaging runs following company SOP
- Safely operate keg cleaner following keg cleaning SOP
- Fill Kegs in advance of packaging
- Use Zahm & Nagel to measure Co2 levels prior to packaging
- Assist with kombucha transfer tasks and other CIP tasks as needed
- Use Ekos software to document cleaning and packaging task and inventory counts
REGULARLY SCHEDULED WORKING HOURS
In general, you will be expected to report to work on the following days / times. Any changes or absences to the below schedule must be approved by a manager at least 7 business days in advance.
● 9-5pm Wednesday & Thursday with potential to pick up additional hours
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)
- High School Diploma or GED graduate preferred
- 1 year or more experience in commercial brewing/manufacturing/kitchen work preferred
- Ability to handle stress under pressure
- Ability to lift up to 30lbs on a regular basis

Ability to learn technical equipment and procedures (i.e,canning line setup/breakdown,
operation, and cleaning and sanitation) - Attention to detail (observing low-fills, damaged cans, irregular machine functioning etc.)
- Willingness to maintain a clean, healthy, and safe working environment
- Ability to coordinate multiple activities with attention to detail

Our production output is seasonally driven - as a result, there may be some weeks with no work days and others with additional hours available to pickup
